University of St Andrews Rifle Club

Our Rifle Club trains primarily in prone position, .22 target shooting at 20 yards. We train at the town's facilities in a VERY central location in St Andrews. During training times all members have access to a seasoned coach to provide guidance and answer any questions one might have about the sport.

 

We participate in regional, national and Inter-University leagues and competitions. Our continued accomplishments in Inter-University and local competitions make us one of the most successful clubs at University. We primarily compete indoors with some limited outdoor shooting during the spring at 50 yards and 100 metres. The photo shown is of 50 yard targets at one of the outdoor ranges we visit.
