Fullbore training is strictly held outdoors during the spring. We train in range facilities located in the scenic hills of Blair Atholl. Not only are the surroundings stunning, but the pastures and protected wildlife ensure a most pleasant experience whilst enjoying the scenery after competing.

Fullbore training involves 7.62mm single-action rifles shot competitively at both 500 and 600 yards targets. After several training sessions at a fullbore range in Blair Atholl the fullbore season culminates with an inter-university SSS Fullbore Competition.
